Twisted Lullaby is the first zine i have ever produced. it is a love letter to my two favorite things…
Horror & Vocaloid. growing up i had always loved the horror songs producers in the vocaloid community had created. it fed into my love of the horror genre, something that has become a staple in my art.
That Love was the driving force for the creation of Twisted Lullaby. i hope you all love this creation as much as i do and i cannot wait for you to see what we have in store.
Favorite Vocaloid/Utau: gumi was always my favorite! i love how far she has come, especially with the recent update to her vsynth.
Favorite Vocaloid/Utau Song/Producer: that’s a hard one. i would have to say my favorite song is shake it! it’s such a feel good song… my favorite producer easily has to be kikuo. some of his music is so hypnotic and mysterious, it inspires me a lot!
Favorite Piece of Horror: i don’t think i can really pick a favorite. i love classic thrillers, arg’s, and indie horror games have a very special place in my heart.

currently, we will be accepting a max of 47 applications. this will put us at 50 contributors.How Many Pieces Can Each Contributor Create?
each contributor may create up to two pieces.I don't have experience doing horror content, can I still participate?
Absolutely! We encourage you to push your boundaries and creativity, but contributors are not limited to strictly horror works!Are we allowed to reference existing works like famous horror movies?
Yes! You can reference classic horror films, horror manga, or even creepypastas!Is this zine going to release on Halloween!

Is it possible to draw art for specific songs? How will the songs be chosen?
Of course! You can create art based on classic horror, on vocaloid specific horror songs, and of the characters interacting for halloween! We ask that you claim the song once in our Discord server, we are limiting 2 artists per 1 song to have diversity in the pieces created in case there are multiple people who want to claim 1 song. If you can make a song fit the theme, we'd love to see your creativity too!What is the policy on gore/triggering content?
Due to the themes that will be present in this zine, we will have all pieces that require a trigger warning in the latter half of the pdf release. It will be introduced with a trigger warning page. Mods will work very closely with artists to ensure nothing goes too far. SA, Sexual Violence of any kind, and Mutilation will not be allowed. If you are drawing anything with gore or other sensitive subjects, we ask that you coordinate with the mods in the Discord server.
